Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Skaftafell Visitor Center. Head south on Route 1 (the Ring Road) and continue for approximately 10 km. Turn left onto Route 193 towards Svínafell. After about 3 km, you will see signs for Glacier Horses on your right. The exact address is Sel in Svínafell, 785 Öræfasveit. Parking is available at the location, and no external costs are incurred for parking.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Skaftafell to the nearest town with a bus stop, which is Höfn. From the Skaftafell Visitor Center, take the bus to Höfn (check the local bus schedules for times). Once you arrive in Höfn, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare to take you to Glacier Horses, as public transport options are limited and may require advance booking. The cost for the bus from Skaftafell to Höfn is approximately 2,000 ISK, while a taxi from Höfn to Glacier Horses may cost around 10,000 ISK.
