If you're driving from the Skaftafell area, head east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Kirkjubæjarklaustur. After approximately 50 km, take the exit for Route 206 towards Stjórnarfoss. Continue on Route 206 for about 10 km, then park in the designated parking area for Stjórnarfoss, which is well-marked. The waterfall is just a short walk from the parking area, following a well-trodden path.
