Getting There

• Car

  From the Laugavegur Trail, make your way to Route 1 (the Ring Road). Depending on your exact location on the trail, this may involve heading towards Landmannalaugar or Þórsmörk. Once you reach Route 1, head north towards Geysir. After approximately 70 km, take the exit for Route 35 towards Gullfoss. Continue on Route 35 for about 10 km until you reach the Gullfoss Nature Reserve. There is a parking area near the waterfall, and parking fees may apply, typically around 700 ISK.
