From the town of Vik, head east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for about 30 km. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Skaftárhreppur. You will turn onto Route 206. Follow Route 206 for about 10 km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Route 203, which will lead you towards the Systravatn area. Continue on this road for another 5 km until you reach the parking area at Systravatn Viewpoint. Note that the roads can be gravel and may require a 4x4 vehicle depending on weather conditions.
