Car
If you're driving, head towards Selfoss from your location in the Southern Region. The Commonwealth Farm is located at Þjóðveldisbærinn, 804 Selfoss. From the Ring Road (Route 1), take the exit towards Selfoss (Route 35). Continue on Route 35 until you reach Selfoss. Once in Selfoss, follow the signs to Þjóðveldisbærinn, which is located just outside the town center. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach The Commonwealth Farm via public transportation, check for bus routes that service the Selfoss area. You can take a bus from Reykjavik to Selfoss, which typically runs every hour. Once you arrive at the Selfoss bus station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) to the farm or take a local taxi. The farm is located about 2 km from the bus station. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance for your return trip.
Taxi
