Start your journey at the Vik i Myrdal Church, which is centrally located in Vik. From the church, head east on Kirkjargata street until you reach Route 1, also known as the Ring Road. Turn right onto Route 1 and continue walking for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Dyrhólaey. Look for the path on your left leading up to the lighthouse. Follow this path as it winds uphill; it may be steep in parts. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding coastline and the iconic arch formation.
