From the center of Vik, start at the Vik i Myrdal Church. Head northeast on Aðalgata toward the main road, Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and walk for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Skógafoss along the way. Continue walking until you reach the Skógafoss parking area, where you can find additional trails leading to the waterfall.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Vik. Start at the Vik i Myrdal Church and head towards Route 1. Turn left on Route 1 and cycle for approximately 5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Skógafoss. The ride is mostly flat, and you can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape as you approach the waterfall.

If you're up for a hike, you can take a trail from Vik that leads towards Skógafoss. Start at the Vik i Myrdal Church and head towards the hills behind it.
