From the center of Vik, start at the Vik i Myrdal Church. Head northeast on Aðalgata toward the main road, Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and walk for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Skógafoss along the way. Continue walking until you reach the Skógafoss parking area, where you can find additional trails leading to the waterfall.
