From the center of Vik, head west on the main road (Þjóðvegur 1) towards Vikurkirkja (the church). After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for the hiking trail to Arnardrangur on your right. Follow the trail, which is well-marked. It will lead you uphill through beautiful landscapes. The hike is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes. As you approach the top, you will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding area and the ocean.

If you are biking, start at the center of Vik and follow the same route towards Vikurkirkja (the church). After about 500 meters, take the right turn onto the trail leading to Arnardrangur. The distance is around 1.5 kilometers, and you should allow about 20-30 minutes to reach the top, depending on your biking speed.
