    Walking

    From the center of Vík, start at the Vík í Mýrdal Visitor Center. Head south on Víkurbraut road towards the beach. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters. You will see the iconic Reynisfjara black sand beach on your left. Keep walking until you reach a fork in the road with a signpost for Sunnubraut. Take the right fork onto Sunnubraut road. Continue walking for another 300 meters. Vík i Mýrdal Church will be on your right at Sunnubraut 7.

    If you are at the Vík village's main supermarket, Krónan, exit the store and turn left onto Víkurbraut. Walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Sunnubraut road. Turn right onto Sunnubraut and continue for about 200 meters. Vík i Mýrdal Church will be on your right side at Sunnubraut 7.

    From the Vík beach parking area, head north on the path that leads away from the beach. After approximately 800 meters, you will reach the main road, Víkurbraut. Turn left onto Víkurbraut and follow it for about 600 meters. Look for the turn-off to the right for Sunnubraut road. Take that right and walk for about 300 meters; Vík i Mýrdal Church will be on your right at Sunnubraut 7.
