From the center of Vík, start at the Vík í Mýrdal Church, which is located on a hill at the end of the main street. Head down the hill, following the main road (Austurvegur) heading east. Continue walking along Austurvegur for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the Katlatrack sign, which is located on your right side at Austurvegur 16. The journey should take around 20-25 minutes.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Vík í Mýrdal Church and cycle down the main road, Austurvegur. Follow the road heading east for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The route is mostly flat, making it an easy ride. Look for the Katlatrack sign on your right at Austurvegur 16. The cycling time will be around 10-15 minutes.

Taxi

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi. You can either call a local taxi service or ask your accommodation to arrange one for you. Provide the driver with the address: Austurvegur 16, 870 Vík. The taxi ride will take approximately 5 minutes from the center of Vík.
