    From the main Þingvellir National Park entrance, head east on Route 36 towards the Þingvellir Visitor Centre. Once you reach the Visitor Centre, continue driving on Route 36 for approximately 5 km. You will see signs directing you to Vallarvegur. Turn left onto Vallarvegur and follow it for about 1 km. The Summer Residence of the Icelandic Prime Minister will be on your right at Vallarvegur, 806.
