Public Bus
Start at the Coeur d'Alene Transit Center located at 1350 W 4th St, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814. Catch the Kootenai County Transit bus (Route 2 - Hayden) and ride it towards Hayden. Stay on the bus until you reach the Hayden Walmart stop (about 25 minutes). After getting off, head north on N Government Way for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto W Cessna Ave and walk approximately 0.5 miles. The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center will be on your right at 2678 W Cessna Ave, Hayden, ID 83835.

Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from downtown Coeur d'Alene. Head north on N 3rd St towards E Sherman Ave. Take a right on E Sherman Ave to connect to the North Idaho Centennial Trail. Follow the trail heading north along the lake, which will eventually lead you to Hayden. Once in Hayden, exit the trail and head east on E Hayden Ave. Continue on E Hayden Ave until it turns into W Cessna Ave, and the museum will be on your left at 2678 W Cessna Ave.

If you prefer to walk and are starting in Coeur d'Alene, head north on N 4th St until you reach E Sherman Ave. Turn right on E Sherman Ave and walk until you reach N Government Way. Turn left and continue walking north for about 2 miles until you reach W Cessna Ave. Turn right onto W Cessna Ave, and you will find the Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center on your right at 2678 W Cessna Ave, Hayden, ID 83835. This walk will take approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on your pace.
