Walking
If you are starting from downtown Coeur d'Alene, head east on Sherman Avenue towards the lake. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront park. From there, follow the Centennial Trail signs along the lakefront. The trail will lead you north along the shore. Enjoy the beautiful views as you walk, and keep following the trail until you reach the I-90 overpass. The viewing point is located nearby at the intersection of the trail and the overpass.
Biking
Begin your journey at the Coeur d'Alene Resort and rent a bike if you don't have one. Head east on Sherman Avenue to the waterfront. Access the Centennial Trail from the park, and bike along the scenic lakeside trail heading north. Continue on the trail until you arrive at the I-90 overpass. There are designated bike paths that will lead you directly to the viewing point, which is located just past the overpass.
Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Coeur d'Alene, take the Citylink bus heading towards the Coeur d'Alene Airport. Get off at the stop near I-90 and the Centennial Trail. Once you disembark, follow the signs toward the trail. The viewing point is just a short walk from the bus stop, and you’ll be greeted with stunning views of the lake and surrounding area.
