Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Owyhee, Idaho. Head southwest on ID-51 S for approximately 30 miles. You'll pass through scenic landscapes, and keep an eye out for wildlife. After about 30 minutes, take a left onto Owyhee Canyon Road. Follow this road for about 15 miles until you reach the entrance to the Owyhee River Wilderness. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough roads, as some areas may be unpaved.
