If you are traveling by car from the center of Owyhee, head east on State Highway 78. Continue for approximately 20 miles. Look for signs for Owyhee Country Viewpoint, which is located off the highway. You will need to turn onto a gravel road just before you reach Idaho 83639. The viewpoint is a short drive down this road, and you will find a parking area available for visitors.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options directly to Owyhee Country Viewpoint are limited. If available, take a bus from Owyhee to a nearby town such as Homedale. From Homedale, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Owyhee Country Viewpoint, which is roughly 15 miles away. Walking
