Car
From anywhere in the Panhandle area, head towards Athol, Idaho. If you're starting from Coeur d'Alene, take US-95 North for approximately 25 miles. Then take a right turn onto ID-54 East. Follow ID-54 for about 5 miles. The entrance to Farragut State Park will be on your left at 13550 ID-54, Athol, ID 83801. Please note that there is a day-use fee for parking at the park.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus to Coeur d'Alene. From Coeur d'Alene, use the local transit system to reach Athol. However, be aware that public transport options may be limited, and you might have to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service from Athol to Farragut State Park, which is approximately 5 miles away. Ensure to check the local bus schedules in advance for the most accurate routes and timings.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, biking to Farragut State Park is an option. If you are in Coeur d'Alene, you can take the bike path along the lakeside to ID-54. From there, you can ride approximately 5 miles east on ID-54 to reach the park. Remember to wear a helmet and follow safety rules while biking on the road.
