Car
From Panhandle, head southeast on ID-3 S toward US-95 S. Continue on ID-3 S for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with US-93 S. Take US-93 S for approximately 60 miles until you reach the turnoff for Salmon, ID. Once in Salmon, continue on ID-28 N for about 25 miles. Look for signs directing you to Goldbug Hot Springs. The trailhead parking area is located just off ID-28, where you can park your vehicle.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from the nearest city with a bus service like Coeur d'Alene to Salmon, ID. Once in Salmon, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the Goldbug Hot Springs trailhead. The taxi ride will be approximately 25 miles and may cost around $30-$50 depending on the service. Make sure to confirm the availability of taxis before your trip.
Hiking
