Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from the center of Panhandle, head north on US-95 N. Continue for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with I-90 W. Merge onto I-90 W and continue for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 299 for WA-2 W towards Spokane. Follow WA-2 W for about 12 miles, then take the exit for WA-206 N towards Mount Spokane. Continue on WA-206 N for 7 miles until you reach Mount Spokane State Park, located at 26107 N Mt Spokane Park Dr, Mead, WA 99021. Note that there is a day-use fee of $10 per vehicle for entry into the park.

  For those using public transportation, you can take the Spokane Transit Authority bus service. Start by catching the bus from Panhandle to downtown Spokane. From downtown Spokane, transfer to the Route 25 bus heading north towards Mead. The bus stops at various points; ensure you get off at the nearest stop to Mount Spokane State Park, which is on WA-206. It is advisable to check the current bus schedule and routes on the Spokane Transit Authority's website. After disembarking, you may need to walk approximately 2 miles to reach the park entrance, or consider rideshare services for a more direct route. Be aware that public transportation may take longer than driving directly.
