Car
If you're starting from Coeur d'Alene, take I-90 westbound towards Spokane. After approximately 30 miles, take exit 2 for US-95 N towards Sandpoint. Follow US-95 N for about 35 miles, then merge onto WA-20 W toward Metaline Falls. Continue on WA-20 W for around 23 miles until you reach Metaline Falls, WA 99153. Once in Metaline Falls, follow local signs for access points to the Salmo-Priest Wilderness.

From Coeur d'Alene, take the Greyhound bus service heading towards Spokane. Once in Spokane, transfer to a bus heading to Metaline Falls. You will need to check the schedule for the exact timings as they may vary. Arrive in Metaline Falls and from there, a taxi or rideshare service can take you to the nearest access point for the Salmo-Priest Wilderness.

If you have access to a vehicle that can get you to a trailhead, consider parking in Metaline Falls. Popular trailheads include the Salmo River Trailhead.
