Getting There

• Car

  From the main entrance of Ponderosa State Park, drive southeast on Ponderosa State Park Road for approximately 0.5 miles. Turn left onto McCall-Donnelly Highway (ID-55) and continue for about 3 miles. Watch for the sign for Heinrich Lane, then turn right onto Heinrich Lane. Continue on Heinrich Lane for about 0.2 miles. The North Valley Trail - Valley County Pathways will be on your left at 161 Heinrich Ln, McCall, ID 83638.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for the McCall area. Board the bus that heads towards McCall and disembark at the nearest stop to the McCall-Donnelly Highway. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along the highway to reach Heinrich Lane. Alternatively, consider using a rideshare service from the nearest bus stop to your destination. Be prepared for possible fares associated with rideshare services.

• Bicycle

  If you're biking, exit Ponderosa State Park via Ponderosa State Park Road and head southeast towards McCall-Donnelly Highway. Take a left onto ID-55 and cycle for about 3 miles until you reach Heinrich Lane. Turn right onto Heinrich Lane and continue for about 0.2 miles. The North Valley Trail will be on your left at 161 Heinrich Ln. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from Ponderosa State Park, exit the park via Ponderosa State Park Road and head southeast to reach McCall-Donnelly Highway. Once you reach the highway, turn left and walk along the roadside for approximately 3 miles until you reach Heinrich Lane. Turn right onto Heinrich Lane and walk for about 0.2 miles. The North Valley Trail will be on your left at 161 Heinrich Ln, McCall, ID 83638. Be cautious of traffic as you walk along the highway.
