From Payette Lake, head southeast on E Lake St toward N 3rd St. Turn left onto N 3rd St, which becomes ID-55 S. Continue on ID-55 S for approximately 7 miles until you reach McCall. Once in McCall, follow the signs to Payette National Forest. You may need to take a left onto E Deinhard Ln and then another left onto ID-55 S. Continue for about 4 miles, and you will see the entrance to Payette National Forest on your right. Parking may incur a small fee, typically around $5 per vehicle, so be prepared with cash or a card.
