From downtown Sandpoint, walk to the Sandpoint Transit Center located at 100 W Lake St. Catch the Bonner County Transit, Route 1, heading towards Sagle. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the Sagle Park & Ride stop. Once you disembark, head south on Highway 95 for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Mineral Point Trail on your right. Follow the trailhead signs to access the hiking trail.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Sandpoint. Start from downtown and head towards the scenic Pend d'Oreille Bay Trail. Follow the trail south along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Highway 95. Continue biking on the shoulder of Highway 95 for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for the Mineral Point Trail entrance on your right side. Park your bike at the trailhead and enjoy your hike.
