From downtown Sandpoint, head to the Sandpoint Transit Center located at 1000 N. 3rd Ave. Catch the local bus service (check the schedule for the latest routes and times) that goes towards Schweitzer Mountain Resort. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, you will arrive at the Schweitzer Mountain Resort stop. From there, you can easily walk to the resort facilities.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Sandpoint. Head north on 1st Ave towards N. Boyer Ave. Continue on N. Boyer Ave, which will lead you out of town. Follow the bike path along the highway (Hwy 95) and turn onto Schweitzer Mountain Rd. It’s about a 12-mile ride uphill, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. The path is scenic and will take you directly to the Schweitzer Mountain Resort entrance.
