Getting There

• Walking

  From downtown Sandpoint, head northeast on N 1st Ave toward Lake St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Boyer Ave. Turn left onto N Boyer Ave and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will then take a right onto W Pine St. Follow W Pine St as it curves and turns into S Lake St. Continue walking on S Lake St for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with Mogul Hill Rd. Here, turn left onto Mogul Hill Rd. Walk about 0.5 miles, and you will find Schweitzer Castle & Château de Melusine at 1018 Mogul Hill Rd, Sandpoint, ID 83864.

• Bicycle

  Start from the Sandpoint City Beach Park. Head north on the bike path along Lake Pend Oreille. After about 1 mile, merge onto S Lake St and continue for another mile. You will then turn left onto Mogul Hill Rd. Continue cycling for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Schweitzer Castle & Château de Melusine located at 1018 Mogul Hill Rd, Sandpoint, ID 83864.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Sandpoint Transit Center, take the North Idaho Public Transportation Authority (NIPTA) bus route that heads toward Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Get off at the Mogul Hill Rd stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Schweitzer Castle & Château de Melusine. Head up Mogul Hill Rd for approximately 0.5 miles, and you will reach your destination at 1018 Mogul Hill Rd, Sandpoint, ID 83864.
