If you are already in Snake River Canyon and are traveling by car, head towards Riggins, ID. From the center of Snake River Canyon, take the nearest road that leads to US-95 N. Continue on US-95 N for approximately 30 miles until you reach Riggins. Once you are in Riggins, follow the signs to the Lower Salmon River, which is located just outside of the town. The river access points are well marked, and you can find parking available near the riverbank.
Public Transportation

Once you arrive at the Riggins bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach the Lower Salmon River, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the bus station.
