Car
If you are driving from Ketchum, head southeast on ID-75 S towards Hailey. Continue on ID-75 S for approximately 12 miles. When you reach the junction with ID-20 E, take the exit towards Twin Falls. Merge onto ID-20 E and drive for about 8 miles. Look for signs indicating the turn-off for Auger Falls. Turn left onto a gravel road (there may be a sign for the Auger Falls Trailhead). Follow this road for about 2 miles until you reach the parking area.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the Mountain Rides bus from Ketchum to Hailey. Once you reach Hailey, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Auger Falls as public transport does not directly service the area. The taxi ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will cost around $20-$30.
Walking
If you are already near the Auger Falls Trailhead and parked your car, you can begin your hike to Auger Falls. The trailhead is well-marked, and the hike to the falls is approximately 1 mile one-way. The trail is relatively easy and follows the river, with scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear as the terrain can be rocky in places.
