Getting There

• Car

  To reach Lemmon Falls from any point in Wood River Valley by car, start by heading south on ID-75 S (Sun Valley Road). Continue on ID-75 S for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with I-84. Merge onto I-84 W towards Boise. After about 15 miles, take exit 141 for ID-46 toward Wendell. Follow ID-46 for about 4 miles until you reach Thousand Springs Grade. Turn right onto Thousand Springs Grade, and Lemmon Falls will be located about 1 mile down the road on your right. There is no entrance fee for visiting the falls.

• Public Transportation

  Although public transportation options are limited in the area, you can take a bus from Hailey or Ketchum to Twin Falls via the Sun Valley Express or the local bus service. Once in Twin Falls, you can catch a Greyhound bus or arrange for a local taxi service to Wendell. From Wendell, you will need to hire a taxi or rideshare service to reach Lemmon Falls, which is approximately 10 miles away. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, you can bike to Lemmon Falls. Starting in Ketchum, take the scenic bike path heading south towards Hailey, then continue onto ID-75 S. From there, follow the same route as for car travel. The total biking distance is approximately 40 miles, so plan for a full day. Bring plenty of water and snacks, as there are limited stops along the way.

• Walking/Hiking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Wendell and want an adventurous hike, you can walk to Lemmon Falls from the town. However, it is about a 5-mile trek along Thousand Springs Grade. Make sure to wear proper hiking shoes and bring water. The road can be busy, so use caution while walking along the roadside.
