Walking
If you are starting from downtown Arlington Heights, head west on East Campbell Street towards North Arlington Heights Road. Continue walking until you reach North Arlington Heights Road. Turn left and walk south until you reach the intersection with West Dundee Road. Cross West Dundee Road and continue south on South Arlington Heights Road. After walking about half a mile, you will come to the intersection with West Algonquin Road. Turn right onto West Algonquin Road and continue west until you reach the intersection with North Cardinal Drive. Turn right again onto North Cardinal Drive, and Kimball Hill Pond will be located at 2800 Cardinal Drive, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Arlington Heights Metra Station, take the Metra train towards Chicago Union Station. Disembark at the Arlington Park Station. From there, walk to the bus stop located at the intersection of West Euclid Avenue and North Arlington Heights Road. Take the Pace Bus Route 696 towards Rolling Meadows and ride until you reach the stop at Cardinal Drive and Algonquin Road. Kimball Hill Pond is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head north on Cardinal Drive for about a quarter of a mile, and you will reach the pond at 2800 Cardinal Drive, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.
