Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting at the Aurora Transportation Center, exit the station and head southeast on West Downer Place. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with South Broadway Avenue. Turn left onto South Broadway Avenue and walk north until you reach the intersection with West Galena Boulevard. Cross West Galena Boulevard and continue straight onto East New York Street. After a few blocks, turn left onto North Lake Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Cedar Street. Turn right onto Cedar Street, and after a short walk, you will find the William Tanner House at 305 Cedar St.

• Public Transit

  From the Aurora Transportation Center, take the Pace bus route 524 towards 'Triton College' and get off at the stop at South Broadway Avenue and East New York Street. From there, walk north on South Broadway Avenue until you reach West Galena Boulevard. Cross over to the other side and continue straight onto East New York Street. After a few blocks, turn left onto North Lake Street, then turn right onto Cedar Street. The William Tanner House will be located at 305 Cedar St.

• Biking

  If you have a bike, start at the Aurora Riverwalk. Head north along the river until you reach East New York Street. Turn left onto East New York Street and bike until you reach North Lake Street. Turn right onto North Lake Street and continue until you reach Cedar Street. Turn right onto Cedar Street, and after a short ride, you will arrive at the William Tanner House at 305 Cedar St.
