If you are near the Berwyn Public Library on 16th Street, start walking south on Ridgeland Avenue. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach 47th Street. Turn left (east) on 47th Street and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach Long Avenue. Turn right (south) on Long Avenue, and the Central Stickney Park District will be on your left at 4715 Long Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start at the Berwyn Park District and head south on Ridgeland Avenue. Continue biking for about 1.5 miles until you reach 47th Street. Turn left (east) on 47th Street and bike for about 0.5 miles until you reach Long Avenue. Turn right (south) on Long Avenue, and bike for a short distance. The Central Stickney Park District will be on your left at 4715 Long Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. The total biking distance is approximately 2 miles, and should take around 10-15 minutes.
