Ride the train for approximately 30 minutes, getting off at the Joliet Metra Station. From the Joliet Station, exit and head south on Chicago St. for about 0.5 miles until you reach Collins St. Turn left on Collins St. and walk for about 0.4 miles until you reach the Old Joliet Prison at 1125 Collins St.

From Berwyn, head to the nearest bus stop on Ogden Ave. and catch the Pace 307 bus towards the Brookfield Zoo. Ride for about 10 minutes and transfer at the Cicero Ave. and 75th St. stop. Here, catch the Pace 855 bus towards Joliet. Ride for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the Collins St. stop in Joliet. Walk south on Collins St. for about 0.2 miles to reach the Old Joliet Prison at 1125 Collins St.
