To reach The Richard H. Driehaus Museum at 50 E Erie St, Chicago, IL 60611 from Berwyn, start by heading to the Berwyn Metra Station. Take the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) line toward Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and walk to the 'State/Lake' CTA station. From there, take the Red Line train northbound towards Howard. After 4 stops, get off at 'Chicago' station. Exit the station and walk east on Chicago Ave until you reach N State St. Turn left on State St and continue until you reach E Erie St. Turn right on E Erie St, and The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your left.
Bus
From Berwyn, go to the nearest bus stop to catch the Pace bus 301 toward the Cicero Pink Line Station. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the Pink Line Station. Transfer to the Pink Line train and head toward 18th. After 6 stops, change at 18th to the Green Line and take the train toward Ashland. After 4 stops, transfer to the Green Line toward Harlem. Get off at the Clark/Lake stop. From there, walk east on W Lake St, turn right at N State St, and then turn left onto E Erie St. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, start from Berwyn and head east toward the Des Plaines River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the 18th St Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on 18th St until you reach S Halsted St. Turn left onto Halsted and ride north until you reach W Adams St. Turn right on Adams and continue until you reach N State St, then turn left. Continue on State St until you reach E Erie St. Turn right on E Erie St, and The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your left. The ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes depending on your speed.
