Once you arrive at the Forest Park station, transfer to the CTA Blue Line train towards O'Hare. Travel for about 15 stops until you reach the 'UIC-Halsted' station. At this station, transfer to the Pink Line train towards 18th. Travel for 3 stops and get off at 'California' station. From there, you can walk approximately 25 minutes north towards Lincoln Park to reach the Bridge over South Pond. Alternatively, you can take a bus from California station.
