You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. At the intersection with E Highland Ave, turn right. Continue walking on E Highland Ave until you reach the intersection with N McLean Blvd. Cross McLean Blvd carefully, continuing on E Highland Ave. After a few blocks, you will come to a stop sign, where you will see Valley Forge Ave. Turn left onto Valley Forge Ave and walk straight for about 0.3 miles. Jim Hansen Park will be on your right at 338 Valley Forge Ave.

    From the downtown Elgin area, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Elgin Metra Station (109 W Chicago St). Take the PACE Bus Route 803 towards South Elgin.
