The Elgin Public Museum is located within Lords Park at 225 Grand Blvd. If you are already in Lords Park, follow the paved paths towards the center of the park. The museum is a large, brick building with a distinctive Greek Revival design. Look for the main entrance facing Grand Boulevard.
Public Transport
Elgin has multiple Pace bus routes that service the city. From the Elgin Transportation Center, located at 102-06 W. Chicago Street, you can take a number of Pace bus routes to the museum. Check the Pace Suburban Bus website or app for specific routes and schedules. From the bus stop, follow Grand Boulevard into Lords Park. The museum will be on your left. A single ride on Pace costs $1.75.
Driving
The Elgin Public Museum is located at 225 Grand Blvd, Elgin, IL 60120. From downtown Elgin, take Route 31 (North State Street) north. Turn left onto Grand Boulevard and continue into Lords Park. Free parking is available within Lords Park. Be aware of other park users and posted speed limits. Parking is free.
