From the Elgin Metra Station at 100 N Grove Ave, take the Pace Bus Route 801 towards the Elgin Walmart. Get off at the Dupage St & Division St stop. From there, walk south on Dupage St for about 0.2 miles. James T. Gifford Park will be on your right at 355 Dupage St. A single ride on Pace Bus is typically $1.75.
Driving
James T. Gifford Park is located at 355 Dupage St, Elgin, IL 60120. From I-90, exit onto IL-31 and head north. Turn east onto E Chicago St, then south onto Dupage St. The park will be on your left. Parking is available on the street, but note that the Gifford Park neighborhood has odd/even parking restrictions. Check posted signs for details. Free parking is available in city-owned lots for up to 72 hours.
