• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in Galena Territory, start by heading east on West Catfish Court. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Catfish Court. Turn left onto East Catfish Court and follow it until you reach the main road, Route 20. Turn right onto Route 20 and drive for approximately 7 miles. Look for the signs for Galena, and merge onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Jefferson Street, and you will find Buehler Preserve at 102 Jefferson St, Galena, IL 61036. There is free parking available nearby.

  For those using public transportation, the nearest bus service is the Jo Daviess County Public Transportation. You can catch a bus from various spots in Galena Territory to the Galena City Hall. Once you arrive at the City Hall, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to Buehler Preserve. Head south on Bench Street toward Jefferson St, then turn right onto Jefferson St, and you will reach Buehler Preserve at 102 Jefferson St, Galena, IL 61036.
