If you're traveling by car from any location in Metro East, start by getting onto I-55 N/I-70 W. Proceed to merge onto I-270 N towards Chicago. Continue on I-270 N for about 15 miles until you reach I-94 N. Merge onto I-94 N and drive for approximately 25 miles. Take exit 39 for Lake Cook Road and turn left onto Lake Cook Rd. Continue west on Lake Cook Rd until you reach Skokie Blvd, then turn right. Continue on Skokie Blvd until you reach the entrance of Skokie Lagoons, located at N, Glencoe, IL 60022. Parking may be available on-site, but check for any potential fees.

For public transportation, start by taking a Metrolink train from any station in Metro East to the downtown Chicago Union Station. From there, transfer to the CTA Blue Line and head towards O'Hare. At the Clark/Lake station, transfer to the Brown Line towards Kimball. Get off at the Kimball station and take the #49 bus towards Western. Get off at the Skokie Blvd and Lake Cook Rd stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Skokie Lagoons, located at N, Glencoe, IL 60022.
