Public Transit - Metra Train
From Naperville, head to the Naperville Metra station located at 105 E 4th Ave, Naperville, IL 60540. Take the BNSF Railway line towards Chicago Union Station. The journey takes about 37 minutes. Once you arrive at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and head to the Canal Street exit. Walk to the nearby 'Ogilvie Transportation Center' which is about a 10-minute walk. From there, you will want to catch the 'CTA Brown Line' train or 'Red Line' train towards Howard or 95th/Dan Ryan respectively. Disembark at 'Washington/Wells' station. From here, transfer to the 'CTA Blue Line' and get off at 'Clark/Lake' station. Finally, walk 0.4 miles east on E Washington St, then turn left onto N Michigan Ave, and continue to E Grand Ave to reach Addams Memorial Park.
Public Transit - Bus
From Naperville, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus at 5th Ave & Washington St. Take the Pace Route 855 towards the 'North Aurora' direction. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer at the 'Aurora Transportation Center' to the Metra train. Board the train towards Chicago Union Station. After reaching Chicago, walk to 'Ogilvie Transportation Center' and then take the CTA Brown or Red Line to 'Washington/Wells', transfer to the Blue Line, and get off at 'Clark/Lake' station. Finally, walk east on E Washington St to N Michigan Ave, and then south to E Grand Ave to find the park.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in downtown Naperville, simply head east on E Chicago Ave until you reach N Washington St. Turn left and walk north until you hit E Ogden Ave. Continue walking east through the downtown area, following the signs to the Metra station. From there, board a train towards Chicago as described above. Once in Chicago, follow the public transit instructions to reach Addams Memorial Park.
