From Naperville, head to the Naperville Metra Station located at 105 E 4th Ave. Take the BNSF Railway Line train towards Chicago Union Station. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and walk to the 'State/Lake' station on the 'Brown' or 'Pink' Line. Take the Brown Line towards Kimball or the Pink Line towards 18th. Get off at the 'Washington/Wells' stop. From there, transfer to the 'Orange' or 'Green' Line and get off at 'Harold Washington Library'. Walk east towards Millennium Park, and you will reach Lurie Garden at 220 E Monroe St.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, start at a central location in Naperville and head east towards the DuPage River Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with the Illinois Prairie Path. Continue on the path until you reach the Naperville Riverwalk. Follow the Riverwalk until it connects to the bike routes leading towards Chicago. Upon entering the city, navigate towards Millennium Park where Lurie Garden is located at 220 E Monroe St. Ensure you follow bike lane markers for safety.
