From Naperville's Metra Station, take the BNSF Railway Line train towards Chicago Union Station. The journey takes about 35-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, follow the signs to the CTA 'L' trains. Take the 'Pink Line' or 'Green Line' to the Clark/Lake stop. Transfer to the 'Red Line' train towards Howard and ride until you reach the Grand stop. From there, exit the station and walk east on Grand Avenue for about 6 blocks. You will find Tall Ship Windy at 600 E Grand Ave, right by the lake.

Take the Pace Bus Route 834 from the Naperville Transportation Center towards the Metra Station in Downers Grove. After about 25 minutes, transfer to the Pace Bus Route 715 towards Chicago. This route will take you directly to downtown Chicago. Once you arrive in downtown, get off at the nearest stop and walk east on Grand Avenue for about 6 blocks to reach 600 E Grand Ave, where Tall Ship Windy is located.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Naperville. Start your ride on the Naperville Riverwalk heading east, then connect to the DuPage River Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the Centennial Beach area, then navigate toward downtown Naperville. Continue into the Chicago area, eventually reaching the Lakefront Trail. Follow the trail north until you get to Grand Avenue, then head east about 6 blocks to find Tall Ship Windy at 600 E Grand Ave.
