Public Transit (Train)
From Naperville, walk to the Naperville Metra Station located at 105 E 4th Ave. Take the BNSF Railway Line towards Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Union Station, exit the train and walk to the nearby 'Clark/Lake' station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Board the 'Green Line' train towards 'Harlem'. Get off at the 'Western' station. From there, Wicker Park is just a short walk to the northwest.
Public Transit (Bus)
Start at the Naperville Metra Station and take the Pace Bus Route 855 towards 'Lisle'. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at 'Ogden Ave & 75th St'. Transfer to the Pace Bus Route 663 towards 'Chicago', which will take you to the 'Western & North Ave' stop. From there, Wicker Park is just a short walk to the east.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from any of the local bike-sharing services in Naperville. Head east on Jackson Ave, then turn left onto Washington St. Follow Washington St north until you reach 75th St. Turn right and continue until you reach the bike path that leads you toward Chicago. Follow the path into the city, and as you approach Wicker Park, navigate to the park area which is well-marked.
Walking
If you are near downtown Naperville, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head towards the Riverwalk and follow it east. Continue walking along the river until you reach the junction with the bike path. Follow the bike path north until you reach the edge of the city. This is a long walk (approximately 30 miles) but offers beautiful scenery and a chance to explore the area before arriving at Wicker Park.
