From anywhere in Bolingbrook, find the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus service. Take the Pace Route 834 towards the 'Chicago Transportation Center'. You will need to transfer buses at the 'Plainfield & Route 59' stop after approximately 30 minutes. Here, switch to the Pace Route 755 heading towards 'Chicago'. Stay on this bus for about 45 minutes until you reach the 'Western Ave & North Ave' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk west to Wicker Park. Follow North Avenue west until you reach the intersection with Ashland Avenue, and then turn left. Continue walking until you see Wicker Park on your right.

Start by getting to the nearest Metra station, which is the 'Bolingbrook - 75th Street' station. Take the Metra train on the Heritage Corridor line towards Chicago Union Station. This journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and walk to the 'Clark/Lake' Red Line subway station (approximately a 10-minute walk). Take the train towards 'Howard' and get off at the 'Western' stop. From here, it’s a 15-minute walk to Wicker Park. Head north on Western Avenue until you reach North Avenue, then turn left, and Wicker Park will be on your left.

This route can take approximately 1.5 hours depending on your speed. Once you are in the city, navigate towards Wicker Park using local bike lanes. Follow the signs for Wicker Park once you approach the area.
