    Getting There

    Walking

    The Naperville Riverwalk is centrally located in downtown Naperville, making it easily accessible on foot from many nearby points of interest. From the Naperville Metra station, head north on Washington Street, then turn right onto Jackson Avenue. Continue east for a few blocks until you reach the Riverwalk. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. No cost is associated with walking.

    Public Transport

    Naperville is served by Metra trains on the BNSF line. From the Naperville Metra station, follow the walking directions above to reach the Riverwalk. A one-way Metra ticket from Chicago to Naperville costs between $3.75 and $6.75, depending on the zone. Seniors and individuals with disabilities may be eligible for reduced fares. Pace bus Route 59 also serves the area. Check Pace's website for schedules and fares.

    Parking

    Several parking facilities are located near the Naperville Riverwalk, including the Van Buren Parking Facility, Central Parking Facility, Municipal Center Parking Facility, and Water Street Parking Facility. On-street parking is also available but is typically limited to two hours between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Parking fees vary by location. For example, the Water Street Parking Garage costs $1.50 per hour.

The Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower, currently closed for rehabilitation, is another iconic structure.Further west, you'll find Centennial Beach, a historic swimming quarry, and Centennial Park with its skate facility and Jaycee Playground. The Riverwalk also hosts numerous events throughout the year, including art fairs, concerts, and seasonal celebrations.
