Public Transit

From Oak Lawn, make your way to the nearest Metra train station, which is the Oak Lawn station. Take the Metra Rock Island Line heading towards Chicago. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Disembark at the LaSalle Street Station in downtown Chicago. From LaSalle Street, walk north on LaSalle St toward W Adams St for 0.5 miles until you reach W Randolph St. Turn left onto W Randolph St, then continue walking for another 0.3 miles until you reach N Wells St. Turn right onto N Wells St, and after a short walk of about 0.2 miles, you will arrive at Brehon Pub, located at 731 N Wells St.

Bus

From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus service. Take Route 349 towards the Chicago Midway Airport station. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Midway Airport station. From there, transfer to the CTA Orange Line train heading towards the Loop. Ride the Orange Line for about 20 minutes and get off at the State & Adams stop. Walk north on State St for about 0.4 miles to W Randolph St, then turn left and walk for another 0.3 miles to N Wells St. Turn right onto N Wells St, and you will find Brehon Pub at 731 N Wells St.

Walking

If you are already in Oak Lawn and prefer to walk, you can take the Oak Lawn Trail which connects to various walking paths leading towards the city. Start by heading north on the trail until you reach 95th St. Turn right and walk east along 95th St until you reach Cicero Ave. Cross Cicero Ave and continue walking east until you reach Pulaski Rd. From Pulaski, you can take a bus or train north towards Chicago, or continue walking towards the nearest train or bus stop for public transit options.
