    From Oak Lawn's 95th Street station, take the CTA Green Line towards Ashland. Ride the train for about 25 minutes and disembark at the 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station. Once you exit the station, head east on 35th Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach South Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto South Michigan Avenue, and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. Chess Records will be on your left at 2120 S Michigan Ave.

    If you're near the Oak Lawn Village Hall, start by heading northeast on 95th St. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the 95th Street station. From there, you can follow the previous instructions for public transit. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk the entire distance, you can follow 95th St east towards South Michigan Avenue, which will take you about 7 miles and will take approximately 2 hours on foot.

    Bicycle

    If you're renting a bike, start at the Oak Lawn Park District and head north on the bike path that runs along Cicero Ave. Follow the path until you reach 95th St, then head east. Continue on 95th St until it merges with South Michigan Avenue. From there, turn left on South Michigan Avenue and continue until you reach Chess Records at 2120 S Michigan Ave. The ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes.
