    From downtown Palatine, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Pace bus route 696 towards 'Lake Cook & 83'. Get off at the 'S Northwest Hwy & E Dundee Rd' stop. Transfer to Pace bus route 600 towards 'Schaumburg'. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Rand Rd & Dempster St' stop. From there, walk to the 'Schaumburg' train station, and board an inbound Metra train towards 'Chicago Union Station'. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Ogilvie Transportation Center'. From Ogilvie, walk to the 'Washington/Wells' train station and take the 'Brown Line' towards 'Kimball'. Get off at 'Merchandise Mart' station. Walk east along W Kinzie St and turn left on N State St. Finally, head east on E Grand Ave until you reach Jane Addams Memorial Park at 550 E Grand Ave.

    Begin at the Palatine Metra station, located in the downtown area. Board an inbound train on the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago Union Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Chicago Union Station, follow the signs to exit onto Canal Street. Walk east towards W Adams St, then turn right and walk to N State St. From there, continue walking until you reach E Grand Ave. Turn left and walk east until you arrive at Jane Addams Memorial Park at 550 E Grand Ave.
