If you're driving, start from downtown Collinsville, IL. Head southeast on E Main St toward S Clinton St. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto IL-157 S. Continue on IL-157 S for approximately 3 miles. Then, take the exit toward Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, and follow the signs to the entrance. The site is located at 30 Ramey St, Collinsville, IL 62234. Parking is available, and it may incur a small fee, so have some cash ready.

To reach Cahokia Mounds via public transport, take a MetroLink train from St. Louis. Board the Blue Line train at any station heading towards the Shiloh-Scott station. Get off at the Fairview Heights station, and from there, you will need to take a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or a taxi to Cahokia Mounds. The distance from the Fairview Heights station to the site is roughly 10 miles, so plan for a ride that may cost around $15-$25 depending on traffic.
