Driving
Black Hawk State Historic Site is located at 1510 46th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201. From downtown Rock Island, head west on 4th Ave, then turn left onto 11th St/US-67 S. Continue south on US-67 S, then turn left onto 46th Ave. The park entrance will be on your right. Parking is available within the park. Parking is free.
Public Transport
The Quad Cities MetroLINK bus system provides service to the area near Black Hawk State Historic Site. From the main MetroLINK station in downtown Rock Island, take a bus that services 46th Ave. From there, it is a short walk to the park entrance. A single ride fare is $1.00.
Walking
From Augustana College, head east on 7th Avenue towards 38th Street. Turn left onto 38th Street and continue north. Turn right onto 18th Avenue, heading east. Turn left onto 46th Street, heading north. Black Hawk State Historic Site will be on your left. The walk is approximately 1 mile.
