Public Transport
From Schaumburg, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Pace Bus Route 554 towards the Rosemont Transit Center. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Schaumburg and Woodfield' stop. Transfer to the Pace Bus Route 250 towards the 'Higgins and Barrington' stop. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Schaumburg and Higgins' stop. From there, walk to the nearest 'Metra' train station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Take the 'Union Pacific Northwest Line' train towards Chicago. Once you reach the 'Ogilvie Transportation Center' in Chicago, exit the station and transfer to the CTA Brown Line at the 'Washington/Wells' station. Ride the Brown Line towards 'Kimball' and get off at 'Fullerton' station. Finally, walk about 10 minutes northeast to Lincoln Park.
Walking
If you're in Schaumburg and prefer to walk, locate the nearest bus stop and take the Pace Bus Route 554 to the 'Schaumburg and Woodfield' stop. From there, follow the steps above to the train station and catch the Metra train. Walking directly from Schaumburg to Lincoln Park is quite long and not recommended due to distance; using public transport is a much better option.
Bicycle
For those who are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Schaumburg. Start by biking south on Meacham Road until you reach the intersection with Golf Road. Turn left and continue on Golf Road until you reach the intersection with Roselle Road. From there, continue biking east towards the Metra train station at 'Schaumburg'. Once you reach the station, you can lock your bike and take the Metra train towards Chicago. After reaching 'Ogilvie Transportation Center', follow the steps above to reach Lincoln Park.
